At 21, Amanda Gorman is heralded as the next great figure in American poetry. In 2017, she made history by being named the first ever U.S. Youth Poet Laureate of America. A rising senior at Harvard, her writing has won her invitations to the Obama White House and to perform for Lin-Manuel Miranda, Al Gore, Secretary Hillary Clinton, Malala Yousafzai, and more. She's spoken across the country, from the Library of Congress to Lincoln Center. Her children’s book Change Sings will be published by Penguin Young Readers in 2021.
